Nita Tyler

Dr. Nita Mosby Tyler is the chief catalyst and founder of The Equity Project, LLC, which supports organizations and communities in building diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies, and The HR Shop, LLC, a human resources firm that serves nonprofits and small businesses. She is the former senior vice president and chief inclusion officer for Children’s Hospital Colorado and the former executive director of the Office of Human Resources for the City and County of Denver. Dr. Tyler is nationally recognized for her equity work with non-profit, community, government, and corporate organizations.

  Dennis Hu   As Director of EHS and SSE, Dennis is responsible for all environmental, health, and safety matters for Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. This includes regulatory compliance, occupational safety, permitting, emergency response, system safety engineering, EHS management systems and program development, sustainability, and external relationships.Dennis has over 23 years of EHS and business experience and has used this background to help continue to drive program and process efficiency improvements in the aerospace industry.

  Michelle Martin   Michelle has been assisting in administering Douglas County’s benefits and wellness programs for four years. She brings over a decade of private sector experience to Douglas County. Michelle guides 1,200 employees with benefits and wellness matters including enrollments, claims and contributions. She brings creativity and innovation to public sector wellness initiatives.

  Steven Shapiro   Steven Shapiro is the founder and president of Communications Strategy Group (CSG®), a Behavior Design-driven strategic communications firm. Since founding CSG in May 2004, Steven has provided strategic direction and developed communications programs that have delivered measurable results for the firm’s clients.

  Debbi Couret   Debbi is a Human Resources and Accounting Supervisor for the Hilton Garden Inn Denver Airport. She participates in the Work Well 2.0 Coalition in a partnership with Tri-County Health and the Aurora Chamber. She is an active part of in the Colorado Community with the Autism Society, Veteran events, and many other organizations.   She is an advocate of wellness in the workplace and at home.

She is a Certified Health Education Specialist as well as ACE Group Fitness certified. Harmony has been in the corporate wellness field for eight years and is currently the Health Promotion Specialist for CSAA Insurance group. She loves strategizing innovative well-being initiatives at her site and is passionate about instilling a culture of health both at work and at home.

She is also involved with several Total Worker Health ® (TWH) initiatives. This includes the evaluation of the value on investment of a workers’ compensation insurer-driven worksite wellness program, evaluation of a TWH intervention for small businesses, and the development of TWH leadership training for small business leaders.

  Logan Shaver   For more than 15 years, Logan’s career has been focused on wellness. After ten years of managing and working with clients in the health club industry, Logan returned home to create an employee wellness program for a rural hospital in Southern Colorado. Following his move to Denver, Logan joined Pinnacol Assurance where he is currently working on enhancing the employee wellness program. Logan currently holds a certification from the Road Runners Club of America and he is also a certified Diabetes Prevention Program instructor.
